Email Marketing
What is SPAM?
"Spam" is unsolicited email. You are spamming when you send someone email they did not request or did not sign up for. (Also see "Permission Marketing.")

Are you spamming? You can help to ensure your compliance by ensuring the following:

1. You send email only to those who have requested to receive it.
2. You do not use purchased lists of ANY kind.
3. You do not send to distribution lists that forward your email to a variety of email addresses.
4. You use your valid email "originating" address.
5. Your subject line does not contain false or misleading information. Be true to your content.
6. You have a working unsubscribe link in your email.

For more information on spam policies, please refer to Coalition Against Unsolicited Email website at www.cauce.org or contact MailMentum at info@mailmentum.com.

Why should I do email marketing?
Email marketing is a powerful way to generate leads and traffic to your site. Despite recent legislations that discourage mass email or "SPAM" campaigns, email marketing remains the #1 choice for marketers as a way to develop and maintain relationships with customers and potential customers. According to a 2003 UCLA Internet Study, email continues to be the most used application by computer users and the fastest growing area of computer use. With such amazing presence, the opportunities for marketing products online are enormous. The time to deliver email marketing is typically much shorter than traditional paper-intensive campaigns… And, much less expensive! Bottom line, it is fast, inexpensive, gets great exposure, AND it gets results!

Review your unsubscribe rates with an eye on 'why'
